Student Ministry
Missions

General

Jesus calls us to GO. We see this best in Matthew 28:19 where Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

When we experience life change, it is then time for us to go and serve others beyond our walls in missions. 419 Student Ministry exists to provide students with mission opportunities on the local, national and international levels so that every student can be involved in missions and spread the love of Christ to others.

Trip Information

Rio Grande Valley

Spring Break 2013

March 9-15

For students who have completed grades 9-12
Cost: $350

We began our partnership with Pastor Steve Martinez in the Rio Grande Valley in 2011. Rio Grande Valley is very similar to what we used to have in Piedras Negras, but it is still in the deep part of Texas, approximately 30 minutes from the Mexico border.

We will be staying at Cone Oasis (a Baptist Encampment), where we will have the majority of our meals and be serving multiple areas leading Backyard Bible Clubs. We are excited to be a part of this partnership in the Rio Grande Valley.
San Francisco

Spring Break 2013

March 9-15

For students who have completed grades 9-12
Cost: $925

Journey Church, March 9-15
We began our partnership with San Francisco Journey in 2010. Journey is led by Chris Brady. Chris accepted Christ in 2003 with our previous partner church in New York (Journey Church). Chris later went on staff with Journey in New York and left to launch a new church in the Downtown San Francisco area.

We will be serving the people of San Francisco in a Christ loving way.
